Ann Marie Geklinsky Bullick, 86, of Scranton, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning at Oakwood Terrace, Moosic. Her beloved husband, Charles, passed away May 3, 1990, and together they celebrated 34 years of marriage.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kurtonick Geklinsky. Ann Marie was a graduate of West Scranton High School, class of 1953, and was a parishioner of Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church, West Scranton. Throughout the years, Ann Marie worked as a housekeeper, working at Stirna's Restaurant, Joseph Noreika Funeral Home and other area businesses. She loved polka dancing and could be seen dancing on WVIA's Pennsylvania Polka Saturday nights. Boating, gardening, swimming and taking care of feral cats brought her much joy and happiness. Ann Marie's family would like to thank Father Basil Micek and the nurses, aides and staff at Oakwood Terrace and Angelic Paths Hospice for their loving care.
She is survived by two beloved children, Sharon (Matthew) Rizzuti, Breinigsville, and Robert (Mary) Bullick, Factoryville; and two grandchildren, Michael Kryeski and Mia Rizzuti.
Family and friends are invited to attend Ann Marie's funeral, which will be Wednesday, March 30, at 10 a.m. in the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St., Taylor, with services by the Very Rev. Archpriest Basil Micek. Interment will follow in Ss. Peter and Paul Orthodox Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday, March 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Panikhida will be at 5:30 p.m.
