Arvon "JR" Lee Schooley

Obituary

Arvon Lee Schooley, 60, affectionately known as "JR", of Pittston, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 11 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born in Kingston and raised and educated in Pittston, he was the son of the late Arvon Sr. and Beverly Brown Schooley. Throughout JR's life he worked in production and prior to his disability was employed by Golden Technology. He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing and was an avid football fan. JR's favorite team was the San Francisco 49ers.

Surviving are his siblings; David Bulford Jr., with whom he resided; Bonnie Radzewicz and her husband, Thomas, Exeter; Karen Smith and her husband, William, Falls and Scott Schooley, Shavertown; nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at later date, to be determined by JR's family.
