George B Yuhas Jr,of Harvey's Lake, entered eternal rest on Monday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. His beloved wife, Karin Schreyer passed into eternal life, April 30, 2014.
Born in Old Forge, he was the only son of the late George and Anne Kolcun Yuhas. George was a graduate of Old Forge High School Class of 1961 and he proudly served our county with the United States Army. George was very intellectual, and he was an accomplished stock investor. People who knew George often said he had a keen sense of humor. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, Old Forge. George was very kind, polite and generous to his family, friends, colleges and even strangers. He will be deeply missed by his family at Harvey's Lake.
Surviving are two sons; George Erik, Taylor and Kurt, Harvey's Lake; many numerous and devoted friends.
A private funeral will be held in St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church, 140 Church St, Old Forge by the Rev. Eduard Shestak. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Old Forge.
