Joseph Voyt, 44, South Scranton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 22.

Born in Scranton, son of Stephen and Mary Ann Simone Voyt, Scranton. Joe was a graduate of Bishop Hannon High School and the University of Scranton. He was the light of his parents' life and they were so proud of his many accomplishments, keeping everyone updated on his latest news and adventures. Joe was a wonderful son, always there for them lending a hand and keeping them up to date on the latest technological advances. He was head of Web Development at Smart Web Design and Ecommerce, creating web pages for many businesses and organizations. As in all of Joe's many interests, he excelled in web design and was fortunate to work doing what he loved.
Joe was a true pinball wizard. Repairing and refurbishing pinball machines was a labor of love. He was always in search of his next acquisition to add to his collection. Joe was a main staple at South Side Bowling Lanes. An accomplished bowler, Joe worked and played at the lanes, organizing the tournaments, and helping where needed. He also worked at Taylor Ultra Storage for many years. The Minnelli family was extremely near and dear to his heart. Joe had many friends, and they meant the world to him. He loved spending time with them, especially his nearest and dearest, you know who you are. He has left a hole in many hearts.

In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his Aunt Barbara Schoonover, Texas and numerous cousins and extended family who will miss him dearly.
