Ronald C. Dombroski, 80, of Ransom Twp., entered into eternal rest on Sunday. His beloved wife of 58 years, Marion Derenick Dombroski, passed away Oct. 11, 2019.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Chester and Jule Burawski Dombroski. Ron was a graduate of West Scranton High School, class of 1958. He faithfully served our country with the United States Army. Ron was a member of the Iron Workers, Local #521 and retired from McGregor Iron Works, Throop. He was a parishioner of St. George's Orthodox Church, Taylor and was a member of the social club, where he enjoyed visiting with his friends. He was also a member of the Turkey Hill Rod and Gun Club.
Ron is survived by four daughters, Suzanne Serniak and husband, Nicholas, Jermyn; Nancy Reilly and husband, Tom, Taylor; Rebecca Dombroski and companion, Matt Pintsch, Cresco; and Kristie Kochis and husband, Robert, Taylor; four grandsons, Dr. Nicholas Serniak; Kristopher Serniak and wife, Rachel; and Noah and Cameron Kochis; two sisters, Anne Adrian and husband, Joseph, Throop; and Marlene Coviello and husband, Anthony, Factoryville; a sister-in-law, Noreen Derenick, Clarks Summit; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Chester "Jerry."
Family and friends are invited to attend Ron's funeral, which will be on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. George's Orthodox Church, 743 S. Keyser Ave., Taylor, by the Very Rev. Mark Leasure, pastor. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
