Rosemarie Keslosky, 85, of Stroudsburg, PA died, Tuesday October 26, 2021 at Gluco Lodge, Stroudsburg, PA. She was the wife of the late Joseph Keslosky (Dec 2005) with whom she celebrated 46 years of marriage.
Born in Taylor, PA she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marion Otrok Burich. She was a graduate of Taylor High School and Scranton State Hospital of Nursing. For 40 years, she worked as a RN for various hospitals and doctor's offices in New Jersey.
Prior to moving to Stroudsburg, PA in July 1998, where Rosemarie and Joe made new friends in the Arlington Heights neighborhood, she resided in Piscataway, NJ for 36 years.
She was a member of St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Scranton, and attended Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Church, Stroudsburg. Rosemarie and Joe enjoyed going to Holy Trinity to assist in making pierogies and socializing with the members of the church.
Her grandchildren were the center of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. She would attend all of their school band concerts with her neighbors Lynn and Courtney. During football season, you would find Rosemarie in the stands of Stroudsburg High cheering on the football team, but most importantly waiting for half time so she could see Rachel and JP perform with "Your Stroudsburg High School Marching Band".
Surviving is a son, Joseph Keslosky Jr and wife Donna, of Stroudsburg; grandchildren Rachel and J.P. Keslosky, sister Lorraine Gula, cousins, nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by brother-in-laws Nick Gula Jr, Michael Keslosky Jr, sister-in-laws Sonia and Lillian Keslosky, niece Cathyann Gula, and nephews Michael and William Keslosky.
Joseph, Donna, Rachel and J.P. would like to extend thanks to the staffs of Compassionate Care Hospice and Slate Belt Rehab. A very heartfelt thank you is extended to the entire staff of Gluco Lodge in Stroudsburg, which was home to Rosemarie for the past couple of years. The care you showed to her, and the family is very much appreciated.
Family and friends are invited to attend Rosemarie's funeral, which will be held on Monday, November 1 at 10 am in St. Michael's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, North Main and Howells Streets, Scranton. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery, Taylor. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 5 pm at the Semian Funeral Home, 704 Union St. Taylor.
